Igor began his investment banking career in 1997, straight from university. Due to his unbridled energy and business instinct, he succeeded in making Prospect Investments among the leading brokerage companies during his first three years.
In 2000 to 2002, Mazepa was the managing director of Foyil Securities New Europe, which under his lead became among the top Ukrainian brokers. In February 2002, he joined MFK Investment Bank as managing director. In his constant search for new challenges, he soon decided to strike out on his own.
In September 2004, he jointly founded Concorde Capital with his closest partners, which was the culmination of team-building.
A graduate of Kyiv National Economic University, he earned his M.A. degree in international business and a B.A. degree in law. He is fluent in English and speaks Spanish.
