Concorde Capital successfully secures $10 million EBRD loan for Мeest Express

Serving as an exclusive financial consultant, Concorde Capital Investment Company is proud to announce it has secured a $10 million loan from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) on behalf of its client Meest Express, a leading provider of international delivery and logistics services.

Concorde Capital accompanied Meest Express from the stage of preparing and structuring the deal to signing an agreement. The process was led by Igor Sotnik, Igor Verkhogliad and Yurii Sachenok of Concorde’s investment banking department. The EBRD financing will help Meest Express fulfill the company’s strategy of growing its share of the Ukrainian market and expanding its existing network of package drop boxes.
“Attracting long-term financing from an international financial institution like the EBRD is a complex process that requires time and administrative resources, resulting in the growth of the level of a company’s corporate governance. Only leaders in their market segments are capable of attracting such financing,” said Igor Verkhogliad, the director of Concorde Capital’s investment banking department.

“This deal is a signal of interest in the delivery and logistics services sector, whose growth dynamics will be maintained in the next years in direct correlation with the development of e-commerce. In our opinion, financing and implementing Meest Express’s investment project will support the sector reaching a new level of quality.”
