The EU Committee of Permanent Representatives voted on June 6 to extend for a year a ban on EU investment and business in Crimea, reported that day Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty. The EU Foreign Ministers Council will confirm that decision with a June 19 vote, RFE/RL reported. Renewed sanctions against Russian enterprises and individuals for the aggression in Ukraine are likely to follow, the pravda.com.ua news site reported.
