Ukraine Treasury residuals jump 74% in November

Ukraine Treasury residuals jump 74% in November

2 December 2016

Ukraine’s State Treasury residuals jumped 73.7% to UAH 27.6 bln as of Dec. 1 from UAH 15.9 bln in the prior month, according to a State Treasury report released on Dec. 1. Treasury cash accumulations as of Dec. 1 are almost half of the year-ago level of UAH 48.0 bln.

Alexander Paraschiy: We attribute the jump to increased state collections in November on the back of an NBU dividends wire and quarterly enterprise profit tax deductions.Further accumulation of funds at Treasury accounts in November means we should expect a considerable jump in budget outlays through December.
