AvtoKrAZ announces UN contract for 8 trucks

AvtoKrAZ (KRAZ UK), the only Ukrainian producer of heavy trucks, will deliver eight KrAZ snowplows to Afghanistan by yearend under a UN contract announced yesterday. The first three trucks are to be delivered in November, and the remaining units by the end of December. AvtoKrAZ is an official registered supplier to the UN. Overall, AvtoKrAZ’s management targets 86% yoy sales growth to 2,350 units for the whole year, which might allow the company to post net income of USD 2 mln in 2012 (vs. a USD 22 mln net loss last year).
