Forum Bank sold to Smart Holding

Ukrainian business group Smart Holding closed a deal to acquire 96.06% of Forum Bank (FORM UK) from Commerzbank, the group announced today. The parties agreed to not make public details of the deal, according to Smart Holding’s release.
Alexander Paraschiy: According to the current legislation, Smart Holding should offer a buyback to minority shareholders of Forum within 20 days after the deal is finished. The offer price cannot be smaller than the market price, or about UAH 0.435 per share, based on yesterday’s quotes on the Ukrainian Exchange.
