KSG Agro to buy three farmers, three bakeries and an elevator

6 June 2012

KSG Agro (KSG PW) agreed to acquire a series of farming and food assets in Dnipropetrovsk region, the company said yesterday and today. The targets include three companies leasing 8,800 ha of (we assume agricultural) land, three bakeries with a nominal daily capacity of 100 t of bread, and a company involved in grain storage and processing. Management said the deals were subject to approval by regulators. The value of the deals was not disclosed – the only thing known is that KSG Agro took a UAH 45 mln loan to (we believe partially) finance the acquisition of the mentioned non-farming assets.
