Ukrainian production of automobiles (passenger and commercial) and busses rose by 44% y-o-y in 9M11 to 76,925 units, Ukravtoprom reported yesterday. Output of passenger cars increased by 50% y-o-y, and buses by 34% y-o-y, but commercial vehicles was down by 35% y-o-y. The top-3 leaders in 9M11 were: ZAZ (affiliated with UkrAvto (UX: AVTO UK, N/R)), Bogdan Corporation (owner of Bogdan Motors (UX: LUAZ UK, U/R) and Eurocar, which produced 59%, 21% and 9% of total output respectively.
