AgroGeneration increases harvest by 22% y-o-y

AgroGeneration (NYX: ALAGR FP, N/R), the France-headquartered farming group with assets in Ukraine, yesterday reported a 22% y-o-y increase in its 2011 grain harvest to 87.7 ths mt. Acreage of cultivated land rose by 12.5% y-o-y. Average crop yield reached 3.1 mt/ha, vs. 2.8 mt/ha last season, in spite of a 22% y-o-y decline in its rapeseed yield due to poor weather conditions.
