Coal Energy to sell EUR 1 mln in carbon credits in 2H11

Coal Energy S.A. (WSE: CLE PL, N/R) plans to sell EUR 1 mln in emissions reduction credits in 2H11 under the Kyoto protocol via intermediary Global Carbon BV, Interfax reported last week. Coal Energy said its Anthracite mine accumulated 108.7 ths mt of carbon dioxide equivalent (ERU), which could be sold for EUR 0.95-1.1 mln.
