Avdiivka Coke’s power plant to get UAH 54 mln upgrade

Metinvest plans to spend UAH 54 mln to upgrade Avdiivka Coke’s (UX: AVDK UK, BUY) combined heating and power plant by 2014, the holding announced yesterday, according to Interfax. The turbine reconstruction will increase electricity generation capacity by 1 MWh to 13 MWh and further boiler workshop modernization will increase capacity by an additional 3.5 MWh.
