Motor Sich inks deal for 12 D-436 engines

Motor Sich (UX: MSICH UK) signed a contract at the MAKS 2011 air show to deliver 12 D-436 engines to Taganrog Beriev Aviation Scientific-Technical Complex (TANTK, Russian Federation) for its  Be-200 amphibious aircraft in 2012-13, website Wing reported yesterday. The sum of the deal was not disclosed. Vitaly Gorovoy: We view the announcement as neutral for Motor Sich. The company also made six D-436 engines for TANTK in 2011. We estimate this new contract’s value at USD 24 mln (1% of 2012-13E revenues).
