Khartsyzsk Pipe to supply pipes for Ukrainian gas transport system modernization

Khartsyzsk Pipe (UX: HRTR UK) won the tender to supply large diameter pipes for the modernization of Ukraine’s gas transport system, according to local media reports last week. The first project is to be the gas mainline Urendoi-Pomary-Uzhgorod (1,160 km in length) with a total budget of USD 538.9 mln, for which 2,462 mt of pipes will be required (at an estimated value of UAH 67.8 mln). The entire budget to upgrade the whole gas transport system is USD 5,313 mln (USD 2,014 mln for mainline works); the entire process is projected to last for seven years.
