The SPF to approve privatization of electric utilities companies on June 30

On June 30 the State Property Fund will sign a privatization decree for a list of electric utilities companies, Interfax reported on Saturday. The first stakes to be sold are those of Kievenergo, Zakarpat-, Chernivtsi-, Donetsk- and Vinnitsyaoblenergo. On June 22 the government adopted a plan to sell 11 utility companies in 2011, 10 of which will be sold in auctions and a 21% stake of Cherkasyoblenergo – on the stock exchange. The State Property Fund plans to collect UAH 6 bln from sale of utility companies in 2011.
