Regulator raises Kyivenergo’s heating tariffs 35% as of 2011

The National Electricity Regulatory Committee raised the heating tariffs for Kyivenergo (UX: KIEN UK) by 35% as of January 1, 2011, according to Interfax. Tariffs for the low-income sector rose by 19%. Yegor Samusenko: We estimate Kyivenergo will be able to increase its revenues from heating generation by approximately 30% in 2011, since households comprise 4/5 of all heating consumers.
