15 November 2010

Ukraine’s Economy Ministry issued grain export licenses on Friday for the entire grain quota authorized by the Cabinet of Ministers for export, 1.48 mln mt, a week ahead of the application deadline, Kommersant reported this morning. As a result of the early distribution, the export leaders of recent years did not get a quota, including Cargill, Toepfer International, Noble Group, Louis Dreyfus and Soufflet Group. Kommersant said that Kernel (WSE: KER PW) received the largest quota (20.9% of the total wheat quota, 27.9% of the barley quota and 20.5% of the corn quota).
