DTEK, in a press release yesterday, announced its audited consolidated financial results for 2009: consolidated revenue increased by 15.7% yoy to UAH 15.0 bln, EBITDA improved by 3.3% yoy to UAH 3.6 bln (margin of 23.8% vs. 26.6% in 2008), and net profit rose to UAH 856 mln, vs. UAH 119 mln in 2008 (margin of 5.7% vs. 0.9% in 2008). DTEK said it maintained its leadership in Ukraine’s coal output and power generation, with 24.4% and 45.8%, respectively, of those markets.
