Mostobud to restart Zaporizhya bridge work on April 10

30 March 2010

Mostobud (UX: MTBD UK) will resume construction work on its Dnipro River bridge in Zaporizhya, Chairman Yuriy Tsyganok said yesterday, according to Interfax. Tsyganok said the work was cleared after Mostobud received the first tranche of a loan (UAH 560 mln on March 18) from Rodovid Bank. Mostobud is set to receive a total of UAH 1.55 bln from Rodovid for bridge construction over the Dnipro in Kyiv and Zaporizhya. Tsyganok also said he expects the 2010 national budget to include a separate line item to fund the bridge in Zaporizhya.
