Mostobud gets UAH 1.5 bln loan from Rodovid

Rodovid Bank opened a UAH 1.55 bln credit line to Mostobud (UX: MTBD UK) to finance the construction of bridges over the Dnipro River in Kyiv and Zaporizhya, Interfax reported yesterday, citing a Mostobud disclosure. The three-year loan was given at the NBU refinancing rate + 4% p.a. Mostobud received the first loan tranche, UAH 560 mln, on March 18; the interest on that tranche came to 23% p.a. The company is due to repay the first loan with a UAH 260 mln principal payment in February 2012 and a UAH 300 mln payment in February 2013.
