XXI Century applies to admit new shares on AIM

15 January 2010

XXI Century Investments (AIM: XXIC LN) said yesterday that it expects AIM to admit 2,068 new ordinary shares for trading today, following its application. The announcement follows XXI Century’s July news that its board of directors issued the new shares as depository interests issued as a consent fee to holders of the company’s USD 175 mln Eurobonds. Following admission of the new shares, the total number of ordinary shares in XXI Century will be 40,416,633, with a free float of ~46.56%. The delay in admitting the new shares for trading was the result of the temporary suspension in all trading in XXI Century shares on AIM that was recently lifted.
