Ukrzernoprom Agro completes 2008/2009 harvesting campaign

Ukrzernoprom Agro/MCB Agricole (4GW1 GR) announced yesterday in a press release that it completed its 2008/2009 harvesting campaign, achieving a total crop of 190 ths mt. As a result of the harvesting campaign, the company said it would decrease stubble fields of winter wheat and oil rapeseed in 2009/2010 from 44% to 14% to achieve a higher yield. The company also said it balanced its crop structure (78 ths ha of winter and spring crops in 2009/2010. In addition, Ukrzernoprom Agro said it was in negotiations with financial institutions about financing part of the 2009/2010 harvest.
