DTEK decreases EBITDA 8.5% in 1H09

DTEK, in a press release yesterday, announced its unaudited consolidated financial results for 1H09: EBITDA decreased 8.5% yoy to UAH 1.47 bln (margin of 21.9%), consolidated revenues rose 10.9% yoy to UAH 6.7 bln, gross profit dropped 33.8% yoy to UAH 1.1 bln (margin of 16.2%), and net profit was down 68.1% yoy to UAH 248 mln. DTEK said that its market share of total Ukrainian coal production increased by 2.5 pp yoy to 30.3% and its share in electricity distribution by 1.0 pp to 7.5%.
