Ukraine to return to Eurobond market in Feb-Apr 2010

Deputy Finance Minister Andriy Kravets said yesterday that Ukraine is planning to return to the Eurobond market in February-April 2010, Interfax reported. Kravets said that a few international investment banks have already expressed interest in new Ukrainian Eurobonds. According to Kravets, Ukraine is seeking an early reentry to external debt markets to secure more favorable conditions. The Cabinet of Minister’s draft budget approved in mid-September envisions issuing UAH 8.125 bln (about USD 1.08 bln) in Eurobonds in 2010.
