Rodovid Bank (RODB) will receive some liabilities (mostly retail deposits) and certain assets to cover those liabilities from Ukrprombank, according to a letter the Ministry of Finance sent to the Cabinet of Ministers, World Bank and International Monetary Fund, newspaper Delo reported today. Rumors about the transfer of accounts from Ukrprombank to Rodovid have been circulating since July. Delo sources said the whole process may finish by the beginning of 2010. Unlike Ukrprombank, Rodovid received a capital injection of UAH 2.8 bln from the government and is set to emerge from under temporary administration by the NBU on October 15. The government controls 99.97% of Rodovid Bank.
