Cabinet of Ministers adopts 2010 state budget draft

The Cabinet of Ministers, at an extraordinary sitting yesterday, adopted a draft of the 2010 state budget, various press outlets reported. The budget envisions UAH 285 bln in income and UAH 324 bln in expenditures, which implies a deficit of UAH 46.7 bln (3.97% of GDP). The 2010 state budget draft will now travel to the Ministry of Finance for final corrections and then to the Verkhovna Rada.
