World Bank mulls USD 400 mln loan to Ukraine for banks

The World Bank’s board of directors will meet on September 17 to consider approving a USD 400 mln loan to Ukraine to support its financial system, Korrespondent reported on Friday. According to the article, the loan will have a term of 30 years with a five-yea grace period. Last month the Verkhovna Rada ratified a USD 400 mln loan deal with the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development, a member of the World Bank Group, for road and infrastructure work.
