Landkom International (LKI LN) wrote this morning in a press release that it signed an agreement with Sunfuel Ukraine LLC to provide for the sale, processing and development of new non-edible oilseed for biodiesel called Isis. Landkom and Sunfuel have tested the Isis seed and are moving to commercialize it. Landkom will contribute land and agricultural production resources to grow and harvest the seeds and Sunfuel will invest in fuel processing facilities in Dobrosyn, where Landkom has operations in Western Ukraine. Landkom planted 1,000 ha with Isis seeds (not included in its official 30,950 ha planting program) – the third year it has planted the seeds on a test-basis.
