Lviv to sign EUR 38 mln EBRD loan for public transportation

Lviv Communal Services is set to sign an agreement on July 16 with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development on a EUR 38 mln loan. The EBRD’s board of directors approved the loan at a meeting on June 30. A portion of the loan, EUR 26 mln, will be directed to reconstructing tram tracks and improving logistical services, with the rest, EUR 12 mln, to be used primarily to modernize tram stations and purchase new trams.
