EBRD grants Ukreximbank USD 134.5 mln loan

3 July 2009

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development said yesterday that it has approved a USD 134.5 mln loan to Ukreximbank, the state-owned export-import bank. A portion of the total loan will be in the form of a syndicated loan for USD 84.5 mln. The EBRD press release noted that it would be the first syndicated loan for a Ukrainian bank since the beginning of the financial crisis. In May 2009, the EBRD extended a USD 250 mln loan to Ukreximbank.
