Astarta starts building milk plant in Poltava

Astarta (AST PW) began construction of a milk production complex in Poltava region, the first stage of which should be completed by December 2009, Interfax reported. The facility will house up to 1 ths cows and be outfitted with milking equipment from Israel’s Afimilk and refrigeration equipment from Sweden’s DeLaval.
