Motor Sich to get USD 150 mln to rebuild India's An-32 engines

24 June 2009

Motor Sich (MSICH) is due to receive about USD 150 mln from rebuilding the engines of the An-32 fleet of India’s Air Force, about 105 aircraft in total, Ukrspetsexport General Director Sergey Bondarchuk said yesterday, according to Interfax. Bondarchuk said that the previously announced contract to modernize India’s An-32s for USD 397.7 mln did not include the amount due to Motor Sich. The project is expected to last five years.
