Cabinet approves directing UAH 10-18 bln to Naftogaz

The Cabinet of Ministers has approved a measure that would increase the charter fund of state-owned Naftogaz of Ukraine by UAH 10-18 mln, Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko said yesterday (via Interfax). Tymoshenko said the additional funds were to compensate for the difference in the price of imported gas and remittances from municipal heating enterprises. The funds would be allocated from the state budget, and Tymoshenko said a bill would be submitted to the Verkhovna Rada for final approval.
