Agro Ministry forecasts 3 mln mt rapeseed harvest

Ukraine’s Ministry of Agricultural Policy forecasts a rapeseed harvest of 3 mln mt in 2009, about the same as in previous years, Minister Yuriy Melnik said yesterday (via Interfax). According to Melnik, about 1.2-1.3 mln mt of rapeseed has already been harvested, at an expected yield of 2.5 mt/ha.
