Sarmat launches Zolotaya Bochka brand

Sarmat, the Ukrainian brewer, said that it will begin production of ZolotayaBochka (Golden Barrel) brand-beer, a SAB Miller product that was shipped to Ukraine from Russia, according to Interfax. ZolotayaBochka Light and ZolotayaBochka Classic will be made at the brewery’s recently modernized Donetsk plant and is due to hit shelves in two weeks. ZolotayaBochka is second on the Russian market in the premium segment; it had 11% share in monetary terms, according to AC Nielsen March 2009 data cited by Interfax.
