EU inspects Ukrainian poultry plants

Daily Kommersant reported today that inspectors representing the European Commission began work yesterday at five Ukrainian poultry producers to check out whether their products will be approved for sale in the European Union. The five plants are Mironivskiy Hliboproduct (MHPC LI), Druzhby Narodiv Nova, Legko Mironivskiy Meat Processing Plant, Agromars Complex (part of the processing facility Ukraina), and Ovostar. The inspections are expected to last ten days, after which the results of the investigation will be announced in a press conference.
