Moody’s Investors Service said yesterday in a statement that it has put the ratings of Privatbank, Oshchadbank and Ukreximbank on review for possible downgrade. Moody’s said the review of the senior debt and deposit ratings of the banks will examine if the extent of support the government can lend the banks has changed amid the crisis. Moody’s said it expected the review to lead to the debt and deposit ratings of the banks being set close to or at the same level as their baseline credit assessments (BCAs): Privatbank – ‘Ba3,’ Oshchadbank – ‘B2,’ and Ukreximbank – ‘Ba3.’
