Ukrzernoprom Agro signs 12 ths mt rapeseed forward contract

Ukrzernoprom Agro/MCB Agricole (4GW1 GR) said yesterday in an announcement on its website that it concluded a forward contract for the sale of 12 ths mt of rapeseed. The company said it has received USD 2 mln as prepayment for the export of the winter rapeseeds, which are due for shipping in July-August 2009. General Director Eugene Leng said proceeds from the contract would be used to replenish working capital and prepare crops for harvesting.
