Retail sales down 11.5% yoy in 1Q09

Yesterday the State Statistics Committee reported that retail sales in Ukraine fell 11.5% yoy in 1Q09 in real terms, down from a decline of 9.4% yoy in 2M09. In nominal terms, retail turnover grew 6.6% yoy to UAH 95.8 bln in 1Q09.
