Ukravtodor USD 400 mln loan from World Bank gets approval

Yesterday, in a press release, the World Bank announced that its board of executive directors approved granting a USD 400 mln 30-year loan to Ukraine for road and safety improvement. The program will be implemented by Ukraine’s state road administration, Ukravtodor. Representatives of Ukravtodor, when the loan was first announced in late March, said the company plans to use USD 300 mln to repair and rebuild the Kyiv-Kharkiv highway and USD 100 mln to repair national road routes that are in critical need of work.
