Moody's cuts Calyon Bank Ukraine's rating, puts 5 other banks on review

Moody’s Investor’s Service said today that it cut Calyon Bank Ukraine’s debt rating in national currency from ‘Ba1’ to ‘Ba2’ and according to the national scale from ‘Aaa.ua’ to ‘Aa1.ua.’ At the same time, Moody’s said it had placed the ratings of five other Ukrainian banks on review for possible downgrade: the financial stability ratings of OTP Bank, Raiffeisen Bank Aval, Ukrsibbank, and Ukrsotsbank – currently at ‘D’ and the national currency rating of VAB Bank – currently at ‘B’.
