NWR to consider acquisition of FXPO stake on April 28

New World Resources shareholders, at their AGM on April 28, will consider the acquisition of a 24.99% stake in Ferrexpo (FXPO LN) for GBP 126.6 mln and consider the appointment of Konstantin Zhevago, CEO of Ferrexpo to the company’s board, according to Interfax. On Oct. 6, 2008, RPGI announced that it bought 20.8% of Ferrexpo from majority shareholder Fevamotinico, which sold the stake to fulfill a margin call from JP Morgan (see our flash note of Oct. 20, 2008).
