Chernihivoblenergo raises EBITDA 2.1x yoy in 2008

According to preliminary results from electricity distribution company Chernihivoblenergo (CHEON), its revenue grew 33% yoy in 2008 to USD 112 mln, its EBITDA grew 2.2x yoy to USD 14.6 mln, and its net income grew 12x yoy to USD 7.6 mln. Alexander Paraschiy: The company beat our 2008 EBITDA forecast by 4%, and net income forecast by 20%. We expect a 3%-4% yoy decrease in the company’s EBITDA (in national currency) this year.
