Ukrsotsbank to Increase Assets 3.3 Times by 2012

Ukrsotsbank’s (USCB: BUY) CEO Boris Timonkin said that the bank intends to boost assets 3.3 times by 2012 to UAH 100 bln (USD 19.8 bln), according to Interfax. Currently, Ukrsotsbank’s assets total UAH 29.9 bln (USD 5.9 bln), making it the fourth largest bank in Ukraine. In November the National Bank of Ukraine permitted Italian UniCredit Group to acquire a 95% stake in Ukrsotsbank.
