Ukraine's money supply grew 0.4% mom in November

According to fresh data from the National Bank of Ukraine, the money supply in the country increased a further 0.4% mom in November (22.0% YTD) to UAH 483.2 bln (USD 65.3 bln). Meanwhile, Ukraine’s monetary base contracted 0.3% mom (though is still up 21.8% YTD) to UAH 172.8 bln (USD 23.4 bln). Notably, the monetary multiplier rose slightly in November, to 2.80 from 2.77 in October, after seven months of consecutive falls from the peak of 3.05 in March 2008.
