NBU Currency Reserves Grow 3.3% in November

The National Bank of Ukraine reported that its FX currency reserves increased by USD 1.06 bln or 3.3% in November, up to USD 32.77 bln, up 47.2% YTD. In November NBU interventions balance totaled USD 0.48 bln while interventions balance in 11M07 is USD 7.78 bln. Polina Khomenko: 11M07 FX reserves accumulated by NBU exceeded our forecast for 2007 by USD 0.27 bln, we revise our year-end projection to USD 33.5 bln.
