Kyivstar Permitted to Disclose Financial Results

28 November 2008

The Kyiv Economic Court cancelled its decision prohibiting Ukraine’s #1 mobile operator Kyivstar from disclosing its financial results and conducting an external financial audit, Telenor’s press service said yesterday. Alfa’s affiliate Alpren recalled its lawsuit of February 2007 to the court to prohibit Kyivstar from having an audit completed. Alexander Paraschiy: The court’s decision allows Telenor to officially consolidate Kyivstar’s financials. Alfa’s move can be interpreted as a move toward solving the corporate conflict in Kyivstar.
