IUD May Float Polish Assets on Warsaw Stock Exchange in 2008

Polish daily Parkiet reported today that the Industrial Union of Donbas could float its Polish unit on the Warsaw Stock Exchange in 2008 for USD 280-400 mln. IUD’s assets in Poland include the Huta Czestochowa steel plant, the largest Polish steel supplier for shipbuilding, and the Gdansk Shipyard. Last week, IUD received regulatory approval to acquire an 86% stake in the Gdansk Shipyard.
