KP Media Boosts Revenues in 3Q07, Completes Initial Expansion Plans

5 November 2008

KP Media (KPME: N/R) posted 76% yoy increase in net revenue to USD 5.03 mln. The company said that it is expecting strong revenue growth in 4Q due to seasonality in the advertising market. KP reported that it has completed the launch of new print projects that it planned this year: 15 Minutes in four cities (Kyiv, Odesa, Kharkiv and Donetsk), which now has the second largest reach of any Ukrainian newspaper, Ukrainian-language women’s monthly Vona, and news magazine Novinar. EBITDA was negative USD 0.8 mln due to the rollout of the new titles, while if all projects less than two years old are removed, the company’s operating profit is positive USD 0.6 mln.
