Budget Deficit Reaches 0.6% of GDP in 9M07

According to the Economic Ministry, the budget deficit came to USD 0.55 bln in 9M07 (increased from USD 0.04 bln in 8M07) and is 0.6% of GDP. Income to the state budget reached 72.3% of the level planned for 2007 and expenditures came to 66.5% in 9M07. We expect a budget deficit of USD 2.6 bln (-1.9% of GDP) in 2007.
