Stakhaniv Wagon Lifts Output 3.3 Times yoy in 9M07

According to a Stakhaniv Wagon (SVGZ: HOLD) press release, the company ramped up production to 4,244 railcars in 9M07, a 3.3x increase yoy. In September, Stakhaniv Wagon made 440 freight railcars (3.9 times more yoy). The company’s numbers are still below its output peak in June of about 520 wagons, which we believe is ascribed to a short-term scarcity of casting supplies in the CIS. The company is on pace to meet our full-year forecast of 5,200 wagons in 2007.
